Avant l’Éclosion

This project draws inspiration from the moment a butterfly emerges from its chrysalis. It explores contrast through materiality: black tulle evokes the protective enclosure, while electric pink/blue organza suggests the fragile, crumpled wings at the instant of unfolding. The piece embodies anticipation, transformation and renewal, further emphasised by a concealed zip at the waist that allows the jacket to shift form, echoing the metamorphic nature of the butterfly itself.
